Keep in mind the roads in Namibia are mostly dirt, so getting to the locations may be unavoidably bumpy at times. So keep any health concerns in mind when selecting a location. But there is no better company to book this tour through!

  Incredible Trip! – The 3-day camping trip in sossusvlei with Chameleon Safaris was amazing! The group was different from what I would have thought in terms of nationality/age distribution, but it turned out… read more perfectly and we had lots of fun together! The nature itself is the most impressive I have ever seen with the desert-dune-landscape in beautiful light. The itinerary is planned in a way to get the most out of the short time also considering the driving time in between, but still left some calm time in the afternoon where one could for example chill by the pool of the campsite.
The setting with a hot meal coming from the fire in the evening, the campsite surrounded by nature and even an breakfast by the dunes one morning could come straight out of a book. Smithley was the best guide we could have asked for, very calm & nice with lots of knowledge and experience and own admiration and respect for the surroundings there. I will cherish those memories forever and would definitely recommend the trip!
