Safari Description
This fully accommodated and very comfortable safari may be short, but it is action-packed and packed with many of Namibia’s best attractions. Game viewing in the world-renowned Etosha National Park, beautiful Damaraland and local tribal people. Namibia’s highest mountain – The Brandberg and the forbidding Skeleton Coast with a shipwreck to see and photograph.
We spend time in the historic coastal town of Swakopmund, sampling the delights of the excellent restaurants and having the chance to participate in exciting activities in and around the coastal area.
The world’s highest dunes in the world’s oldest desert await visiting Deadvlei, Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon. A scenic drive up over the Khomas Hochland and central plateau brings us back to Windhoek at the journey’s end of one of our most popular safaris
Full Itinerary
Day 1: Windhoek to Etosha National Park • 500 km
We leave Windhoek and travel north towards Etosha National Park. After entering the park, we begin game driving towards our overnight accommodation inside Etosha.
Twin share, en-suite bathroom (Okaukuejo or Halali Resort).
Meals: Lunch and dinner.
Day 2: Etosha National Park to Anderson Gate Area • 70 km
We spend the day in Etosha National Park, game driving through different habitats and stopping at waterholes along the way.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 3: Etosha to Swakopmund • 510 km
We leave Etosha after breakfast and begin the long drive south-west towards the coast. We reach Swakopmund in the afternoon, and the evening is free to explore town or have dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Meals: Breakfast and lunch.
Day 4: Swakopmund to Sesriem Area • 350 km
We leave Swakopmund and travel east across the Namib Desert, stopping at the Tropic of Capricorn before continuing to our accommodation near Sesriem.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 5: Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon • 120 km
We enter Namib-Naukluft National Park before sunrise and visit Dune 45, Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei, using the 4×4 shuttle for the final sandy section. There is time to explore the vlei area and visit Sesriem Canyon before returning to our accommodation in the late afternoon.

Day 6: Namib Desert to Windhoek • 320 km
We leave the Namib Desert after breakfast and travel through the central highlands to Windhoek. Arrival is in the afternoon, with drop-off at your accommodation in central Windhoek. We do not recommend booking a departure flight for today.
