Full Itinerary
We leave Windhoek for the drive to N/a’an ku sê Wildlife Sanctuary, a well-known conservation project east of the city. On arrival, you join a guided route through the sanctuary, where the focus is on the animals in care and the wider conservation work linked to human-wildlife conflict in Namibia.
The tour may include sightings of baboons, caracals, lions, cheetahs, African wild dogs and leopards. Depending on the day’s programme, feeding sessions may form part of the experience, giving you a closer view of the animals while sanctuary guides explain their behaviour, backgrounds and why they cannot always be returned to the wild.
